Dynamics

So then here's a technical question for those in the know,

Have you ever really thought about the Harmonic Motion of a under damped system? Honestly?

I mean it doesn't look hard, however it does look a bit pointless...

Any thoughts?

The Student

p.s. Sorry about the shortness of my post, but I really haven't much to rant about today...

Just as a little post filler, here's one of the Scottish National Anthems... Well Scotland doesn't actually have an official National Anthem, but here's Flower of Scotland:

O Flower of Scotland
When will we see
Your like again,
That fought and died for
Your wee bit Hill and Glen
And stood against him
Proud Edward's Army,
And sent him homeward
Tae think again.

The Hills are bare now
And Autumn leaves lie thick and still
O'er land that is lost now
Which those so dearly held
That stood against him
Proud Edward's Army
And sent him homeward
Tae think again.

Those days are past now
And in the past they must remain
But we can still rise now
And be the nation again
That stood against him
Proud Edward's Army
And sent him homeward,
Tae think again.

Anyway, just a little randomness... Of by the way, I'm not actually Scottish...
